May Hi there! I hope you're doing well! I'm Teacher May. In 2008, I graduated as one of the academic achievers from our University. I took up Bachelor of Science in Marketing. I also have a TESOL certificate. After I graduated, my first job was to work as a Customer Service Representative in a BPO company where all of my customers were Americans. So I have lots of experience in dealing with foreign clients. Currently, I am an online English teacher. I have been an English teacher for quite some time now. I've come across students with different levels of communication skills. My specialty is oral communication skills such as daily conversation and free talking exercises. We can talk about anything under the sun. I believe that learning should be fun. So I make sure that my student will learn a lot and at the same time have fun in my class. I can easily adjust to the level of my student. I'm a good listener. I love listening to my students' thoughts and Ideas. I also make sure that my student will be comfortable in my class. mialyn Hi! My name is Mialyn E. Peralta, but you can just call me Teacher Mia. I took Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in English. During my first two years of school teaching, I felt so grateful to my mom that she incited me to take this profession. Who will not going to love those children who needed your guidance? It's an honor to be called "the second mother" in a form of a teacher who will be a part of their growth and development. You might be thinking now that I'm a serious-boring-type of person because of what I said earlier, but unfortunately, I'm not. Allow me to give you a walk-through about my high spirited side. Outside of work, I like to engage in my personal activities such as reading manga and novels, watching Asian or American movies, and playing video games in different available consoles at home or at malls. I also love raising pets! In fact, I have 4 cats, 2 dogs and a chicken at home, but please don't mistook me as a farmer. I had been an ESL tutor since 2012 both personal and online. Being an ESL tutor has some minor differences compare to being a classroom teacher. For instance, I'm just teaching one or two students at a time that's why I can focus on certain skills that need some careful attention. Another one, they can learn and improve easily because I can listen and pay close attention to my ESL students to make sure that I'm using the right teaching method for them. Lastly, I treat them as my friend to make sure that they understand every lesson I give them because I make them feel the freedom of asking questions and not just nodding in accordance. My passion for teaching always motivates students to have passion for learning and improving the English language, too.

Odette Hello, everyone! I am Odette and I have been an ESL Online Instructor since 2008. I must say that the passion for teaching runs in my blood for I have relatives who are also into teaching. They, as well as my former teachers, have inspired me to follow their footsteps and lead me to become the teacher I am today. Being a one-on-one or a man-to-man tutor when I was in college triggered my interest in teaching English to Koreans. It has not just been a challenging experience to teach them English but it has also been very fulfilling on my part since I have been able to encourage, enhance, help and guide them to achieve their goals - developing their English skills and maintaining their skills to become good English speakers. My interests are reading English books and watching American TV series. I have no favorite genre for I choose and enjoy reading a particular book or watching a TV series depending on my mood. With such interests, I am able to enhance more of my own English skills particular listening and American pronunciation while enjoying my free time. Remember, "Do it with passion or not at all". Pamela Hi, I am teacher Pamela but you can call me Pam. I took up Bachelor of Science in Tourism management since I love travelling. I traveled in different places in my country as well as various countries abroad. I also have TESOL Certification which I took up after I finished my degree. I am the eldest among two siblings and growing up I am used in helping my sister in her studies. I have loved the English language since I was in High school and I received awards like "Best in English" and "Best in reading" but not in my wildest dream that I would end up teaching the language. As time goes by I enjoyed teaching students. I can't explain the fulfillment and joy every time the students learn something from me. It's something money cannot buy. I have experienced teaching different kinds of Korean students from children to adult. I am confident to say that I am good in what I do which is teaching because I always give my best but it doesn't mean that I am perfect. I believe that there is always room for improvement and I don't limit myself with the learning that I have today. Since I am an easy going person I promote fun and interactive way of learning. romelyn It has always been my passion to teach. So, I took up secondary education in the University of Manila and majored in English. Actually, I’ve been teaching English to students of various ages for years now. Most of my students are Koreans, Japanese and Chinese. My lessons are mainly English grammar, writing and listening skills, comprehension skills and the speaking skills. This experience taught me a lot of things which I would be glad to share with you, but always remember, there is no elevator to success, and you have to take the stairs. Step by step you can achieve your goal, no need to rush. I started teaching Korean and Japanese students after I graduated in university. That was in 2006 until 2010 at the academy that the university where I graduated (The University of Manila) founded. While still working in that academy, I also work online from 2010 to 2011, but at that time my students are all Chinese. Then after a year of working in that company, I moved in Happy English. I have been working here since 2011.
