Hi, I'm Laine! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and I have been teaching Korean and Japanese students since 2014. I have experienced both face-to-face and online classes, and I can safely say I have taught students from all ages - the youngest would be 2 years old and the oldest are already in their 60's. With this I can easily recognize the student's strengths and areas he/she needs to improve on and adjust the lesson accordingly.
Most of my students would describe me as a lively and humorous teacher, and that I'm a good listener. Aside from free talk conversations, I also specialize in grammar, writing, and other fundamentals of English. |

Before becoming an English teacher, I was a researcher, later on promoted as a segment producer for 3 years in a huge television station in the Philippines. I thought I was realizing my dream of being a writer back then, but with some unfortunate events which turned out to be a blessing in disguise, I landed a career in English teaching and since then I never wanted anything else. I found happiness and a great sense of fulfillment in this career.
Outside work I love trying out different things and hobbies. I believe in the saying "I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret things I haven't." So in my younger years I was involved in theater, school newspaper, and cosplaying activities. I was even a member of rock band! Can you imagine that? Recently, I'm into cooking and vlogging. I can't wait to meet you all in class! Let's learn English and share some laughs :) |

Hello there! My name is Kaye.
I have been teaching English online since 2011, and it has been fun ever since. I finished college in Manila with a degree in Mass Communication. I have also worked in call centers for American, British, and Australian telephone companies, which helped me a lot in honing my skills in English. I was a radio DJ playing Filipinos' favorite songs from dusk until dawn. I also host events during my free time. I love music, animals, movies, and food. Reading is my favorite way to relax as well as spending time with my family and friends on weekends. |

Working in the ESL industry is the longest part of my career and the most rewarding. Not only was I allowed to teach all levels of students from Koreans to Taiwanese to Japanese nationals, but also to share what I know best to them, which is my love for the English language. Hi there! This is teacher Karen. I am a graduate of Education course, Secondary Education to be specific major in Science. But don’t worry because here in Philippines we use English Language as a medium of instruction. I was once a classroom teacher and had taught different subjects. I became a Values, History, English and Science teacher of different grade levels. Teaching in a classroom environment is so stressful that’s why I quit and ended up teaching in a one-on-one typed. My experience in one on one teaching helped me introduced to different cultures of other people also, it developed my interpersonal skills. My hobbies are reading books, listening to songs and playing 6-string guitar. I read both fiction and non fiction books. For fiction books, I read different genres but thrilling books is what I like the most. Examples of these are Dan Brown’s books such as ‘The Da Vinci Code’, ’The Lost Symbol’, ’Digital Fortress’ etc. For the non fiction books I like Science and History books. For the songs, I like acoustic more than anything because I like the sound of guitar that is also the reason why I got into playing a guitar. Lastly, I am a kind of person who is very much interested in a lot of things, I like to try things I haven’t tried yet because I want to discover myself more. Because I believe that all things can be learned we just have to go out of our box and face our fear. Actually I can’t write all the things about me, just ask me and I’ll tell you. Hello, I am Teacher June! I have always gained interest in teaching specifically the English language since I was a kid. I used to playfully teach my two younger brothers when we were still young – I would be their teacher/tutor while them being my students.
