shenyang I have been living in = The place I have been living called Shenyang is located in north side = the northern part of China. So winter in Shenyang is very long as well as colder. I think Shenyang is winter for more than 6months.
In the middle of winter, temperatures drop to minus 30 degrees. So when it becomes cold, I rarely go out.
Winter in Shenyang is very boring because there is nothing to be able to do outside.
I really don't like winter in here.
However, fortunately winter in Shenyang is about to be over. It has been getting warm these day. I can't wait to be a warm spring. = for the spring to come. 
Of course I am a little bit worried about pollens. Anyway It is good thing to be able to go out.
