Today's topic was about Seollal. In korea, People called memorial ceremony for ancestor Jesa I think Jesa is kind of diffrient with other contries's memorial ceremony. You told me that Filipinos have a memorial ceremony only one day a year on All Soul's Day But Koreans have Jesa every year that day their ancestor was dead. So if their ancestor was dead in different day, Descendants should have a Jesa every different day. Let's say one family have a Jesa up to great-great-grand parents and their cusins, also all they are dead in different days. If so they might have to have a Jesa twice a month.... who can handle this.... so most korean mothers are sick of Jesa....

In korea, People called memorial ceremony for ancestor Jesa
I think Jesa is kind of diffrient with other contries's memorial ceremony.
You told me that Filipinos have a memorial ceremony once a year, and it is called All Soul's Day
But for us Koreans,  we have Jesa every year, the day their ancestor died. So if their ancestor  died on a different day, Descendants should have a Jesa on a different day. Let's say one family will have a Jesa up to great-great-grand parents and their cusins, also all they are dead in different days.
If so, they might need to have a Jesa twice a month.... who can handle this.... so most Korean mothers are sick of Jesa....
