Do you watch English movies? Yes, I enjoy watching all kinds of movies including English movies. There are a number of good films in English. The best one for me is "Inception" in 2010 directed by Christopher Nolan. How can an English film helps an English learner to improve their English skills? I'd like to give below comments for an English learner to improve his English skills through English films, 1. Choose a movie considering its English level of difficulty. I believe that it's very important to opt to a right film considering the English skill's level of the learner. If the level of conversation in the movie, for example, how complicated or technical, is excessively higher than that of the learner, he/she would become exhausted easily and give up at the end. 2. Watch the same movie repeatedly and regularly I think it's better to watch the same movie than to continue to look for other new one. You need to watch the same until the expression or intonation in the movie would come out from your tongue naturally. Also, please keep it in your mind that it's key to watch it everyday at least even 10 minutes. All we know learning a language always requires patience and efforts for us no matter which way you choose to improve English skills. I want to say "cheer up and don't give up" for all English learners including me. ^^
