I think that leadership is not simple. So many elements to lead a group eventhough it's very small are required. = There are so many elements required/needed to lead even a small kind of group. If someone ask me What the best leadership quality is, my answer is 'sympathy'. = If someone asks me, what the best leadership quality is. My answer would be "sympathy".
Because there are totally different members in a group. The leader has to understand their situations and tries to represent thier rights and thoughts to tie them together.
