I would like to mention two things related to Korean culture. First thing is Korean traditional clothes, Hanbok. Hanbok had been worn from long time ago as normal clothes. Since western style clothes were introduced in Korea, Korean people usually wear a western style clothes such as jeans, shirts and suits etc. Korean people still wear Hanbok at special holiday for example new-years day and thanksgiving day. Also many korean people are likely to wear Hanbok at special day such as wedding day and 60, 70's birthday which are celebrated from many other people. Hanbok is little bit inconvenient than western style clothes. Hanbok has its own beauty. I am sure it reflects Korean ancestors' concept of beauty. Second thing is Korean traditional food, Kimchi. Kimchi is the most common side dish in Korea. Kimchi also has long history. Kimchi is a type of food that vegetables were preserved in salt. Since red pepper were come in at Cho-sun dynasty, Kimchi were made with red pepper. Before red pepper, all of Kimchi is just white. Kimchi is need to be aged. While aging, a lot of nutrient was made. Kimchi is used to diverse food such as kimchi stew, Kimchi-jeon that is similar with pizza etc.
