Why do some people find it difficult to say no?

It is really hard to say no. There are a few reasons, I think. First of all, we worry too much about hurting the other person’s feeling = feelings when we decline something. If you say “no” without any signs of hesitation, the other person may feel that you reached  = you have made your decision too easily, which could lead them to feel disappointed in you or even dislike you. Because we = we are already aware of this thought process, saying no is really difficult.

Second, we don’t know well what we want or not when we are faced with a choice yes or no. = Second, we don’t know clearly what we do or do not want when we are faced with a choice between yes and no. Some questions are easy to answer, but others require time to consider carefully. Sometimes, even after thinking about it for a long time, you still cannot find a clear answer as to what it is that you truly want. Because of this, saying no is difficult.
