I wanted to be Alexander when I was young. The more I study history, the more I realize he had an unhappy later life. = When I was young, I wanted to be like Alexander the Great. However, the more I study history, the more I realize that his later life was quite miserable.

He believed thaht he is a son of god and conquered Greek, Persia, and then went to the Indus. He achieved everything at his 20s. But He was betrayed by direct reports and killed the best friend. = Believing he was the son of a god, he conquered Greece and Persia before pushing all the way to the Indus Valley, accomplishing all of this in his twenties. Yet, he was betrayed by his closest generals and even killed his own best friend in a fit of rage.

He tried to commit suicide after killing the best friend. Because he regreted a lot. People said that "Early success isn't always a good thing". His empire was dived as over 3 countries from his direct report generals. His family all was killed by them. It is not sucessful life. = Overwhelmed by regret, he tried to commit suicide right after. People often say, 'Early success isn't always a blessing.' After his death, his empire was split among his top generals, and his entire family was murdered by them. In the end, it was hardly a successful life.

When I see the story, It remind me as Diogenes. Mad Socrates. Alexander wanted to be Diogenes. = His story always reminds me of Diogenes, the 'Mad Socrates.' Alexander once famously said that if he were not Alexander, he would want to be Diogenes.

His greedy was not over. Endless. But Diogenes realized what he wanted desire himself. Becasue of his hard life, it made him be free all over the place. = While Alexander's ambition was endless and insatiable, Diogenes truly understood his own desires. By stripping away all material comforts, he freed himself from societal constraints.

He is so strage philosopher among all philosophers since human being history. He can do mastervation in front of the crowd at Agoda. He told Alexander to move aside because Alexander blocked sunshine to him. = He was a very strange philosopher in human history. He even masturbated in public at the Agora and told Alexander to step aside because he was blocking the sun.

Who can do tell the absoulte ruller? He was so free, strong mindset. His stroy is so famous. It remains a lot of drawings about his story. = No one else could talk to an absolute ruler like that. He had a strong, free mindset, and many paintings show his story.

I cannot follow them such as Alexander, Diogenes. I'm just noting but a common man like Gozo Satoru. = I cannot follow people like Alexander or Diogenes. I am just a common person, like Gojo Satoru.
