I feel so strange when I study Korean histoty myself. I learned Korean main histoty from school. Korean. School has educated Korean histroy as national history. = I feel strange when I study Korean history by myself. In school, I learned standard national history.

It is duty. Most country should educate their history as national history. Except for Japan. Japanese should studuy global histoty as duty not Japanese history. = Teaching national history is mandatory in most countries, but Japan requires students to study world history instead of Japanese history.

I was so surprised at that at first. I think it is the reason not to explain that as adults. = I was surprised when I learned that, and I think it explains why adults there often struggle to discuss their history clearly.

By the way, I learned Korean is so peaceful people, no invasion from school, teacher and national books. Since I was young, I was sure that Korean is not good people. It is closer to the agressive more than the peaceful. = In school, my textbooks and teachers told me that Koreans were peaceful and never invaded other countries. But since I was young, I felt Koreans were actually more aggressive.

After growing up, I read a lot of books, watced documents videoes. Except for Joeseon, our ancestors were so agressive. = After growing up and watching documentaries, I found out that our ancestors were very aggressive, except during the Joseon Dynasty.

Korean ancient kingdonm "Goguryeo" was so agreesive, powerful and so tough. = The ancient kingdom of Goguryeo was strong, tough, and aggressive.

It won two united China dynisties. Its destroy was caused by infighting. = It successfully defeated two unified Chinese dynasties before its eventual fall was brought about by internal division.

Basically, A festival to pray for a good harvest is to purpsoe their harvest. But Goguryeo was to invade the neingbors countries. Goguryeo needed its neighbors to be wealthy so that there would be enough riches to seize through attack. = Harvest festivals were traditionally held to pray for crops, but in Goguryeo, seasonal gatherings were also used to mobilize for raids against neighboring regions to secure resources.

So different from here. We are not weak, nice. We don't need to pretend as nice people. = Real history is very different. Our ancestors were not weak, and we do not need to pretend we were always peaceful.
