I used enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh duel monsters. I experienced this game at first from the Animaition "Yu-Gi-Oh". Korean title is "유희왕". Usually, players starts as 4,000 points in anitmation. But as real rule, players starts as 8,000 points. I hooked up on the gaim since the last grade of high school student before Korean SAT is a year. It is very importan season for students preparing for an exam. As I mentioned this importance a few tiems, It is decied all lifes in Korea. But I was so insane for this gaime. Even though, I played with elementary school students. I stopped to study hard that's because I realized that I'm not able to go to super university. Maybe, what if I didn't gave up my SAT, I would live in other life. In my elementary school before Yu-Gi-Oh, I enjoyed "Blue Marble. It was Korean Monopoly game. As you know, it was about real estate of capitals. I can build house, condo, hotel in the land. Looking back, Taipei, Singapore price was so cheap. The most expensive capital was Seoul. In current view, Singapore is most expensive. After visiting Singapore, I understood that Singapore is mre expensive than Seoul for sure. Anyway, this game gave me knowledge of geography, history. As a result, I work as a engnieer not related with this interests.

I hooked up on the gaim since the last grade of high school student before Korean SAT is a year. It is very importan season for students preparing for an exam. As I mentioned this importance a few tiems, It is decied all lifes in Korea. = I got obsessed with the game during my final year of high school, right before the Korean SAT. It was a crucial year, as the Suneung determines so much of your future in Korea.

But I was so insane for this gaime. Even though, I played with elementary school students. I stopped to study hard that's because I realized that I'm not able to go to super university. = But I was crazy about the game and even played with elementary school children. I stopped studying hard because I felt I couldn't get into a top university.

Maybe, what if I didn't gave up my SAT, I would live in other life. = I sometimes wonder if my life would be different if I hadn't given up on the exam.

In my elementary school before Yu-Gi-Oh, I enjoyed "Blue Marble. It was Korean Monopoly game. As you know, it was about real estate of capitals. I can build house, condo, hotel in the land. = Before Yu-Gi-Oh!, when I was in elementary school, I enjoyed playing Blue Marble, the Korean version of Monopoly. You could buy land in world capitals and build houses, condos, and hotels.

Looking back, Taipei, Singapore price was so cheap. The most expensive capital was Seoul. In current view, Singapore is most expensive. After visiting Singapore, I understood that Singapore is mre expensive than Seoul for sure. = Back then, Taipei and Singapore were cheap in the game, and Seoul was the most expensive. Nowadays, Singapore is extremely expensive. After visiting Singapore, I saw firsthand that it costs more than Seoul.

Anyway, this game gave me knowledge of geography, history. As a result, I work as a engnieer not related with this interests. = Overall, those board and card games taught me about geography and history, even though I ended up working in engineering instead.

NOTE: Sorry, the last line gave me a good laugh! TT It is fascinating how nostalgic games like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Blue Marble can spark a lifelong curiosity about world geography and foreign cities. I used to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, too. Kkkk... ^^
