Looking back, when I was young, our family was poor.
Something the best is to give up spending money activities everything. Such as a meeting friends, making a grilfriend, traveling to other cities and prohibited eating expensive food. = Back then, the best strategy was to give up any activity that cost money. This included meeting friends, having a girlfriend, traveling to other cities, and avoiding expensive food.
I still have habits that I eat food a lot in a buffet. It brings me overeat behaviors. I feel that I have no confidence, powerful, adventurous feelings. = I still have a habit of overeating whenever I go to a buffet. It stems from those childhood experiences. Because of this, I sometimes feel a lack of confidence, power, and adventure.
I guess that lacking of life is more important than fullness in our life. It makes us be better, powerful developping. Constrary to, we can have strange habits. = I guess experiencing scarcity is actually more important than having abundance in life, because it motivates us to grow and become stronger. On the contrary, it can also leave us with strange habits.
To make money, I did a part time jobs in high school. In Korea, it is difficult to make money at student. Getting a job is very hard. A frined of mine who doesn't contact worked as helping out his parents. = To make money, I worked part-time jobs in high school. In Korea, it is very difficult to earn money as a student; finding a job is incredibly hard. A friend of mine, whom I've since lost touch with, used to work by helping his parents.
To collect recycle trash, he used to go around neighbors. Come to think of it, If I were in the past, I never would do that as him. = He would go around the neighborhood collecting recyclable trash. Come to think of it, if I had been in his shoes back then, I never could have done what he did.
Ridiculously, at that time, kids are not nice, kind. It's like a little Satan. Some kids have bullied the person as him... the reasons I don't like kids. = Kids back then were not nice or kind; they were like little Satans. Some kids would ruthlessly bully anyone in his situation, which is exactly why I don't like children.
NOTE: Growing up with financial hardship is incredibly difficult, and it makes complete sense that those early experiences created long-lasting habits. |
