In my opinion, there are some reasons that = some reasons why nowadays people are hard to take some rest.

First, there are lots of = there is a lot of attractive digital contents. It's common that people use the phone before going to the bed in the night. For example, they enjoy reels on Instagram or videos on Youtube. It is not desirable to spendlots of time for that = to spend a lot of time on that because stimulating Dopamine is not helpful to take a sleep or rest.

Second, the work of modern society is = work in modern society more diverse and plentiful than that of pre-modern society by the progress of technology. In ancient, = In ancient times, people don't have = did not have many things to do, however, by the development of technology, people nowadays should do several kinds of work besides sleep, hunting and farming. So the given time is might be the same as before but modern people have to do more things so they can't relax.

In conclusion, the flood of digital contents and the excessive works prevents people from resting.
