Share a mistake you made in the past and what you learned from it.

When I missed a award of school last year, although it's my turn. = Last year, I missed receiving a school award, even though it was supposed to be my turn. / Last year, I didn’t get the school award, even though it should have been my turn.
In this process, I was frustrated lots, because of dissapointment to others. = During this process, I was very frustrated because of my disappointment in others.
The education office gives the award one teacher in each school the end of the year. = The education office gives the award to one teacher in each school at the end of the year.
Ordinally, the person who is been around for the longest time is gave the award. = Usually, the teacher who has been at the school the longest receives the award.
Becuase I worked 5 years in last school, I though that I would been granted. = Because I had worked at my previous school for five years, I thought I would receive the award. / Since I had been at my last school for five years, I assumed the award would be mine.
But I was a youngest teacher, so my co-teacher wanted that I would make concessions for her. = But I was the youngest teacher, so my co-teacher expected me to give way to her.
Eventually, I didn't been granted the award because I gave up the application for the award. = Eventually, I didn’t receive the award because I gave up applying for it. / In the end, I wasn’t granted the award because I withdrew my application.
I was stressed full in the course of consultation about the award. = I was very stressed during the discussions about the award.
That's why I wanted to run away from a competition with my co-teacher. = That’s why I wanted to avoid competing with my co-teacher.
But a result of giving up bothers me now because I don't have many points to move new school I wish. = But the result of giving up still bothers me because I don’t have enough points to transfer to the school I want.
At that time, I paid more attention to other's eyes than my desire. = At that time, I cared more about what others thought than my own desires.
I endure to remember that the most important thing is me, so I have to hear my inner voice always. = I try to remind myself that the most important thing is me, so I must always listen to my inner voice.
