  I think it depends on the type of content. If the story and the emotions of the characters are important in that contents, I would choose books. However, If visualizing imagination is important. I would rather watch movies. I think books are great for depth. This gives me more insight into the character’s emotions and actions. But I think movies provide us new visual experiences that we can’t even imagine such as galaxy or space.

I think books are great for depth. This gives (use "They give" if you are referring to the books) me more insight into the character’s emotions and actions.
But I think movies provide us (provide us with / provide (no us) ) new visual experiences that we can’t even imagine such as galaxy or space.
