In Korea, people usually compliment the outcome of work or a person's effort.
When expressing praise, we commonly say, "You did it! I'm also happy for you to accomplishment the goal finally= finally accomplished the goal"
Also, we commonly compliment about the = the look of the person. For example, we says-= say, "That dress is good on you! Also, your necklace goes well with your dress = it " Then, the opposite says, "Thank you so much. I feel good for you to say so" or the shy person responds like-, "Not really:) Thanks! "
The important thing to keep in mind when responding to a compliment is to be humble. An arrogant attitude sometimes makes the person regret giving a compliment.
