I think the most extraordinary custom in Korea is "Kimjang". It is to make Kimchi, which is a traditional food in Korea. When the winter is coming, many families get together to make the amount of Kimchis for Kimchi enough for the next year. The reason why this culture remained until now is because of its many advantages. One thing I want to say is that they can spend their time with their relatives. Even if the fast-paced society made people busy with their work to keep up with the latest technologies or their work systems, they would always set aside time for "Kimjang".
