Maricris
Hello. My name is Maricris Vigilia. You can call me teacher Mari. I finished my degree of Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication in Polytechnic University of the Philippines. In my free time, you can catch me listening to music, playing volleyball, or reading mystery novels. I'm a third of four daughters , which made me very close to my sisters.
My dream is to teach Communication to high school or tertiary students. I want to help build a world with wise and confident people who knows how to express themselves freely and happily. My love for communication led me to teach students from around the world the universal language, English. Since I also had various advocacy; like Human Rights and Equality, I believe that being able to understand and speak with each other could bring us to better places.
mialyn
Hi! My name is Mialyn E. Peralta, but you can just call me Teacher Mia. I took Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in English. During my first two years of school teaching, I felt so grateful to my mom that she incited me to take this profession. Who will not going to love those children who needed your guidance? It's an honor to be called "the second mother" in a form of a teacher who will be a part of their growth and development. You might be thinking now that I'm a serious-boring-type of person because of what I said earlier, but unfortunately, I'm not. Allow me to give you a walk-through about my high spirited side. Outside of work, I like to engage in my personal activities such as reading manga and novels, watching Asian or American movies, and playing video games in different available consoles at home or at malls. I also love raising pets! In fact, I have 4 cats, 2 dogs and a chicken at home, but please don't mistook me as a farmer.
I had been an ESL tutor since 2012 both personal and online. Being an ESL tutor has some minor differences compare to being a classroom teacher. For instance, I'm just teaching one or two students at a time that's why I can focus on certain skills that need some careful attention. Another one, they can learn and improve easily because I can listen and pay close attention to my ESL students to make sure that I'm using the right teaching method for them. Lastly, I treat them as my friend to make sure that they understand every lesson I give them because I make them feel the freedom of asking questions and not just nodding in accordance. My passion for teaching always motivates students to have passion for learning and improving the English language, too.
maida
Hello! I am Teacher Mai from Happy English. How do you do? I took up BA Philosophy at the University of the Philippines, one of the top universities in the country. I chose this major as a Pre-Law course in hope that I can be a lawyer someday. But teaching and imparting knowledge has always been my zeal, I knew that I should be a teacher. For me, teaching is my worthy vocation and my contribution to society
I started teaching during my last year in college as I was hired as a tutor for grade school students. In 2007, right after I finished my studies, I was hired as an ESL Teacher by a company under Daekyo. I initially helped very young students get acquainted with the English language through story books. As my previous company expanded, so did our clientele. I then taught Koreans of different ages and levels from all walks of life. Being a mother to three young kids, I became very patient in teaching as I know each person is unique and has to be treated as such. And though English is not thenative language in my country, my children are all fluent English speakers. This is what I hope to achieve with you, too. It would be both my pleasure and fun to instruct you with the intricacies and nuances of the English language. Hope to see you soon!

Junior students that are grade school students and adults from middle school to professionals. I love to teach so I pursue this profession.
For me it is a fulfilling job because I am able to help others. I am helping my students learn and understand the English language. I am really happy when my students learn our lessons. I tell my students that there are 4 ways to learn the language. First is to read English books. Second is to watch English movies. Third is to listen to English songs and the last one which is the most important is to use the language. I love to read articles about food, health and animals. I also love to cook though I am not a good cook. I share what I learned to my students. I am sure that you will enjoy our classes. I am looking forward to have you in my class.

Karen
Hi there! This is teacher Karen. I am a graduate of Education course, Secondary Education to be specific major in Science. But don’t worry because here in Philippines we use English Language as a medium of instruction. I was once a classroom teacher and had taught different subjects. I became a Values, History, English and Science teacher of different grade levels. Teaching in a classroom environment is so stressful that’s why I quit and ended up teaching in a one-on-one typed. My experience in one on one teaching helped me introduced to different cultures of other people also, it developed my interpersonal skills. I am a licensed teacher for I passed LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers).
My hobbies are reading books, listening to songs and playing 6-string guitar. I read both fiction and non fiction books. For fiction books, I read different genres but thrilling books is what I like the most. Examples of these are Dan Brown’s books such as ‘The Da Vinci Code’, ’The Lost Symbol’, ’Digital Fortress’ etc. For the non fiction books I like Science and History books. For the songs, I like acoustic more than anything because I like the sound of guitar that is also the reason why I got into playing a guitar. Lastly, I am a kind of person who is very much interested in a lot of things, I like to try things I haven’t tried yet because I want to discover myself more. Because I believe that all things can be learned we just have to go out of our box and face our fear. Actually I can’t write all the things about me, just ask me and I’ll tell you. Hope we get to know each other soon!
kai1
Hello Everyone. My name is Teacher Kai. I've been a part of the ESL industry since 2012. I have experience teaching students with different nationalities such as, Japanese, Turkish, Taiwanese, Vietnamese but I predominantly teach Korean. 10 years ago, I never imagined myself falling in love with teaching. But, I just found myself enjoying every minute of interacting with my students. I love the idea that I impart to their knowledge as well as to inspire them. It's always fulfilling to see my students developing their skills with my help. I believe that as an ESL teacher one of my responsibilities is to create a fun environment for my students specially for young learners. Moreover, encouraging and motivating them to take the challenge of learning a new language became a part of my obligation.
Learning a new language can be a struggle, but remember that it's just a tiny part of creating a better you in the future. Furthermore, when I am not Teacher Kai but just a simple individual, travelling with my friends is something that I enjoy. I feel free and contented listening to the waves when I visit some beaches and smelling the fresh air and watching the pool of clouds whenever I reach the peak of the mountain. I am also a music lover. Music helps me to feel less exhausted. There are still so many things that we can still talk about. I'm hoping to see you and be a part of your improvement.
